Born Wendy Joan Williams on July 18, 1964 in Ocean Township, New Jersey, to parents Shirley and Thomas Williams Sr., she is the middle child of three, with a sister named Wanda and brother named Thomas. Williams graduated from Ocean Township High School and earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in communications from Northeastern University, where she was a DJ for the college radio station, WRBB. She was married to Bert Girigorie from 1994 to 1995 and Kevin Hunter from 1997 to 2019. She has a son named Kevin Jr.
