Jannik Sinner is an Italian professional tennis player who achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 15 on 9 August 2021, and a doubles ranking of world No. 152 on 16 August 2021. Turning professional in 2018, Sinner has won three ATP titles in singles and one in doubles, and became the youngest ATP title-holder since 2008 by winning the 2020 Sofia Open. At the 2020 French Open, Sinner became the youngest quarterfinalist in the men’s singles event since Novak Djokovic in 2006. He was also the youngest ATP 500 champion since the category was created in 2009 by winning the 2021 Citi Open in Washington, D.C. and becoming the first teen to lift a trophy at this level.
