She was born Vildan Pelin Karahan on October 6, 1984 in Ankara, Turkey to Nural Koçyiğit and Bayram Ali Karahan. She attended and graduated from the School of Tourism Enterprises at Anadolu University. She is married to Bedri Güntay. She was previously married to fitness instructor Erdinc Bekiroglu.
