Alexandr Dolgopolov is a retired Ukrainian professional tennis player who achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 13 on 16 January 2012, and a doubles ranking of world No. 42 on 9 January 2012. Having turned professional in 2006, Dolgopolov won three singles titles and one doubles titles on the WTA Tour. He reached the quarterfinals of the 2011 Australian Open. Dolgopolov announced his retirement on 1 May 2021, having played Novak Djokovic in his final match on 14 May 2018 at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome.
