Beren Saat is a Turkish actress born in Ankara, Turkey. She is mainly known for her portrayal of Bihter Yoreoglu on Forbidden Love, which became international hit and has broken ratings records in Turkey and Pakistán. She is also known for her starring role as Yasemin Unsal in the ATV series Remember Darling, as Fatmagül Ketenci Ilgaz in What is Fatmagül’s fault?, and as Derin Çelik/Yağmur Özden in Revenge. For her role in the Forbidden Love, she won two Golden Butterfly Awards. Born in Ankara, Turkey, on 26 February 1984, she is the daughter of Ayla Saat and Hüseyin Avni Saat, and sister to Cem Saat. She has been married to Kenan Dogulu since 2014. She studied at Baskent University before she took up acting in 2004.
