She is known for the television work on series such as Aangan Terha, Meharun Nisa, Bilqees Kaur, Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley, Kis Ki Aayegi Baraat, Seeta Bagri, Azar Ki Ayegi Baraat, Bay Dardi, Annie Ki Ayegi Baraat, Naulakha, and Takkay Ki Ayegi Baraat. Bushra’s other notable works include Utho Geo Pakistan, Fifty Fifty, Makan, Mera Naseeb, Kitni Girhain Baaki Hain, Kabhi Kabhi, and Deewar-e-Shab. In 1989, she was awarded a Pride of Performance, and won a Lux Style Award in 2011.
