Eliza Dushku is an American television and movie actress and model. She is best known for television roles as Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1998–2003) and its spinoff series Angel (2000–2003), Tru Davies on the Fox supernatural drama series Tru Calling (2003–2005) and Echo/Caroline Farrell on Fox’s science fiction television series Dollhouse (2009–2010). Dushku has also appeared in such films as True Lies (1994), ring It On (2000), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), The New Guy (2002), Sex and Breakfast (2007), and The Saint (2017). Born Eliza Patricia Dushku on December 30, 1980, in Watertown, Massachusetts, to Philip Richard George Dushku, an administrator and teacher in the Boston Public Schools, and Judith Rasmussen, a political science professor, she was raised a Mormon. She has three older brothers, Aaron, Benjamin, and Nathan. Dushku started acting when she was 10. She completed her schooling from Beaver Country Day School and Watertown High School. In 2017, she got engaged to Peter Palandjian. She was previously in a relationship with NBA player Rick Fox from 2009 to 2014.
