Jordyn Wieber is an American retired artistic gymnast and the current head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks gymnastics team, assuming the position in April 2019 following the retirement of long-time head coach Mark Cook. Wieber was a team gold medalist at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She was also a member of the gold medal-winning US women’s gymnastics teams at the 2011 World Championships, and the 2011 world women’s all-around champion. Born Jordyn Marie Wieber on July 12, 1995 in DeWitt, Michigan, to parents Rita and David Wieber, she has three siblings, Lindsay, Ryan, and Kyra. Starting at age 3, her parents enrolled her for gymnastics training. She was educated at Dewitt High School and University of California, Los Angeles. In 2017, Wieber began dating fellow Olympic gymnast Chris Brooks.
