Raven-Symoné is an American actress, singer and songwriter who played Raven Baxter in the Disney Channel’s supernatural teen sitcom television series That’s So Raven from 2003 to 2007. She has also appeared in the films Dr. Dolittle, Dr. Dolittle 2, College Road Trip, and successful television films, including Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century, The Cheetah Girls, its sequel The Cheetah Girls 2, For One Night, and Revenge of the Bridesmaids. Also a singer, Raven-Symoné released her debut album Here’s to New Dreams in 1993. It was preceded by her debut single “That’s What Little Girls Are Made Of”, charted at No. 68 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Born Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman on December 10, 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia, she is the daughter of Lydia and Christopher B. Pearman. She began her career as a child actress, portraying as Olivia Kendall on The Cosby Show and Nicole Lee on Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper. She graduated from Atlanta’s North Springs High School in June 2004.
